Pinedale Stampede is Pinedale’s only timed intergenerational nordic ski race, and the Sublette Trails Association is proud to put on the race in its 6th year. We are also very excited to announce that this years race is part of a new nordic race series serving western Wyoming and eastern Idaho, the Wydaho Nordic Ski Series. The Pinedale STAmpede is one of seven races included in the series.

Race Information

The Pinedale Stampede will take place Saturday, January 27. There are multiple races categories including men’s and women’s skate and classic in both 10k and 20k distances as well as a 2.5k and 5k fun race.

The Costume Party Lap is available in the 2.5 or 5km distances (although costumes are encouraged for all racers in all divisions), race distance does not matter for awards.  Prizes to the top 3 best costumes, this is not a race competition, this is a costume competition! The If you are participating in the costume party lap, the costume theme this year is 90s hip hop!

All races will have a medal award ceremony after race at Lakeside Lodge Pinedale, WY.  Each race will have gold, silver, and bronze medalist in age and gender categories per distance and style of race.

Friday, January 26:
Course Inspection- Use one of the maps below and head to the trails and check out the
course. Course is adjacent to White Pine Ski Area 74 White, Pine St, Pinedale, WY 82941
5pm - 8pm: Check in and play at Pinedale Aquatic Center (PAC), onsite registration
available. Registered racers will receive a free PAC pass for both Friday and Saturday
Saturday, January 27:
8am - 8:45am Check in at race HQ. Onsite Registration begins at 8 and closes at 8:45 am
(cashor check ONLY).
9:00am - Race Start
3:00pm - Awards &Social at Lakeside Lodge in Pinedale, WY

Please note there is a NO DOGS courtesy rule on the race course trails.
